Star Info: Ask just about any porn connoisseur about raven-haired chanteuse Madison and they'll likely give you the same misty-eyed response, "Oooh, Madison, she was one of the best." And they'd be right. She was one of the best.
For half a decade, Madison Stone (she dropped the last name during her heyday) was one of the top names in the porn game, racking up over 180 titles before retiring in the mid-'90s. Known for her aggressive personality, buxom, rock-hard frame, multiple piercings before they were trendy and high-pitched screams during orgasm, Madison took the industry by storm and garnered quite a following during her tenure in the biz.
She worked for a variety of companies during her reign, including Vivid, VCA, Elegant Angel and Video Team and was paired up with such other porn luminaries as Savannah, Hyapatia Lee, Patricia Kennedy and Heather Hunter, making for some memorable scenes. Her best work displays her unforced eroticism and raw, spontaneous exuberance and can be found in such titles as House of Sleeping Beauties, Party Doll A Go-Go, Three Musketeers, Parlor Games and Torrid Without A Cause 2.
Born on January 12, 1965, Madison moved to Los Angeles in 1988 from Atlanta after stints as a part-time dancer and full-time cosmetologist. With her sights set on a music career, she found Hollywood to be a difficult place to achieve success and quickly turned to dancing and posing for men's magazines. Eventually she graduated to adult films and developed her signature style and personality, a mix of sexy, kitten-like charm and high-octane, no-holds-barred aggressiveness.
In time, she also developed a penchant for boob jobs, piercings and tattoos, raking up a slew of tats over the years, including a full arm sleeve (years before porn superstar Janine made 'em famous). She had her tongue and nose pierced and was the first known person to have her neck pierced. Now officially known as "the Madison," the piercing is a vertical or horizontal surface one made between the collarbones, where the neck and chest meet. Factor in her sexy SoCal tan lines, jet-black bowl cut, outrageous outfits, and fondness for dirty talk and bondage, and you had one hell of a sexual powerhouse.
Though she was voted the XRCO Favorite Female of 1993 and became a celebrity in the porn world, it was mainstream success that Madison yearned for. By 1995, she whittled her work down to occasional solo, fetish or g/g scenes. The rock band she formed in the mid-'90s, Kiss The Monkey, had become a full-time project and she decided to leave the adult world to again try her hand at the music game. Though she did manage to get their song "Man on the Moon" placed on the well-received Porn To Rock compilation CD (Callner Music), Kiss The Monkey disbanded after several years of slugging it out in the Hollywood rock scene. By 1997, Madison was seen fronting the group Four Ugly Girls. Along the way she also managed to score roles in several B-movies, including Evil Toons and Naked Obsession, and appeared in the Mötley Crüe video "Hooligan's Holiday."
"Madison was always one of our favorite guests," says talk show host Colin Malone of Colin's Sleazy Friends and Colin After Dark. "She was always crazy and funny, but she was really hot. She was the kind of girl who would make a joke right before swallowing five guys' cum. She'd be getting fucked by three guys and be making jokes the whole time. She would never shut up, but we loved her."
Since her retirement from porn, few people have heard from Madison. AVN made many attempts to track her down but sadly, had no luck. Upon scanning the Web, we found a chat room thread by one fan that mentioned that he heard she moved to England in 2000 to pursue - what else? - her music career. The last known interview with the elusive vixen appeared in NoFi Magazine, where the author ran into her at Glamourcon in 1996 and she gave her fans this advice: "Do unto others as they would do unto you. Make yourself happy. Make yourself smile."
