Star Info: After more than 600 scenes over three years, AVN Award winner Bridgette Kerkove retired from performing in October, though she plans to keep active in other aspects of the adult industry.
Kerkove said her decision was reached because she had met her goals in the industry. However, she will continue to work behind the scenes on her Bubblegum Girls series, will sign, and work on her Website.
"I have nothing bad to say about the business. Just good. Look at all the things I got to do," she said, and added she got to work with the "greatest directors" in the business.
AVN's Best New Starlet winner for 1999 was also nominated for Female Performer of the Year, and had just won an award for best American actress at the Venus Faire in Berlin. Kerkove added, "I was so proud coming back from Germany with that award. It was a really nice note to go out on."
